Reinhold

Reinhold Bertram Harland d'Orien III

Reinhold Bertram ir'Harland II served Breland with minor distinction in the Last War, returning home with just enough war glory to secure the marriage-hand (and specie) of the dowager duchess Mathilde d'Orien. Scant months after the rushed wedding, Reinhold III was born and too inherited the name of his grandfather, along with the House membership due his mother.

Now in his 20th year, Reinhold III has apparently done little to live up to even his father's meagre accomplishments. The only child, he is an avowed fop who spends most of his time lounging in the company of the fairer sex. Despite manifesting the Mark of Passage as an adolescent he has steadfastly avoided any semblance of duty - spending months idly visiting at the country estates of other minor nobles, preemptively spending his inheritance at the finest restaurants in Sharn, and generally taking little interest in the affairs of house or country. His doting mother has used her not-insignificant pull to remove Reinhold from any active Orien duty assignments, which is just as well due to his basic unreliability and the subsequent demerits and punishments he had accrued. It was only Reinhold's father, perhaps recognizing that his family's new title was that ever forced the boy to study the noble arts - fencing, horseback riding, etiquette, civics - and with his father's passing the son has only become more indolent.

It was only reasonable then, seeking some sort of revival in her son's life, that Mathilde d'Orien took the advice of her fourth cousin and presented Reinhold with an ultimatum: either donate your time to some charitable duty, or be returned to the active Orien roster to serve his House. Such presented, it was only a matter of time before Reinhold found himself standing before the great brass and iron doors of Polaris X&R.

You instantly transfer yourself from your current location to another spot within range. The distance traveled must be an increment of 10 feet (10 feet, 20 feet, 30 feet, and so on). You always arrive at exactly the spot desired, whether by simply visualizing the area or by stating direction and distance. You can bring along any objects you are touching as the spell is cast, so long as their weight doesn't exceed your maximum load. You cannot bring along other creatures.
If this spell would put you in a place that is already occupied by a solid body, the spell fails.
